my story
it was a stormy night in august. the moon was full and the howl of the coyotes filled the hot summer air. a young pooch named hope, who was great with child, was wandering the lonely roads somewhere in middle tn seeking shelter from the predators that prowled at night. she found shelter in a humble barn. it wasn't much, but at least she was safe. it was later reported by many witnesses that a great star appeared in the north, and from that star came forth a voice.... "unto the world a child is given. a child who will rid the world of all hatred and evil. a child whose beauty and compassion will bring peace to all lands. this child will be the savior of all mankind. none greater have walked the earth, and for the rest of time, none shall"
i don't really remember the night i was born. some say that night brought something into the world that it needed desperately. a sense of hope. i don't neccessarily think of myself as the savior of mankind, but we must all accept the role we have been given. a wise man once told me, "penny lane, you must never lose sight of your destiny. you must hold on to it, for it is all you have. and you must never under any circumstances potty on mommy's carpet." now i'm going to go chew on the blinds.
